Scientific Injection Molding
Scientific Molding is a systematic, scientific, data driven method for step by step common cause variable elimination in the injection process and is the cornerstone of ROAs' molding practices. It starts with tool functionality, short shot progression and balance of fill study.

It directs necessary tooling correction, facilitates proper treatment of material, guides machine process for optimal conditions to ensure maximum precision repeatability and conformity across cavitation. It continues through optimal material treatment for flow, fill and freeze to guarantee proper material handling, cycle efficiency, repeatability and reproducibility.

Continuous Process Monitoring
Scientific Injection Molding allows for reduction and elimination of common cause variables, but continuous monitoring is needed for anomaly capture - integrated automation and segregation is needed for handling of these anomalies. All our machines are specified with continuous multi variable real time monitoring and 6 Sigma statistical control. Our automation is fully integrated for separation and control.

6 Sigma Problem Solving
Team members have been trained in 6 sigma problem solving techniques to resolve the most complex of issues. We have a history of resolving issues in transfer tooling long since deemed unresolvable and accepted as part of manufacturing process variable. Recognition, identification and root cause analysis are strengths ROA possess and offer as part of our FAI, Validation and Capability Verification process.

Our operations are registered to ISO 9001:2008 and are continuously regulated and internally challenged and tested to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The concept and premise of our quality system starts at the project DFMEA, follows into Design Review, through Tool Build Management, IQ/OQ/PQ, First Article Inspection, Validation, Capability Studies and continuation into Continuous Production Process Monitoring.

Transfer tooling follows the same path commencing at IQ/OQ/PQ and sometimes as needed, returns to design review, adaption change and tool management.

ROAs premise for quality management is first and foremost to reduce / eliminate all controllable variables.
